Awesome podcast! Hmm...I'd never thought of the idea of lowering the drinking age to reduce assaults-you have a good point. I suppose in Australia the legal age for pretty much everything (including alcohol) is 18, so that contradiction of being a legal adult in all senses but drinking does seem odd, even as a non-drinker. Not sure what it's like in America, but a big problem here is the legal drinking age and the age to get your license coinciding and mixing with rural roads, so a low drinking age has it's own set of problems too. Not sure what the solution is then...raise the age for one, lower for another? It's complicated, but I think it'd have been a worthwhile issue for them to have at least thought it over in the meeting. It's great how you guys can go over really serious topics in such a non-judgmental and deep way yet manage to be positive and entertaining. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for adding to the conversation. That's a definitely an issue to be considered. I feel the restriction on something that everyone else gets to do freely might inspire people to drink irresponsibly at a younger age because they feel like they're missing out. From my idealist POV, if we educate young adults more honestly about the pros and cons of everything they're eventually going to encounter, like alcohol, they'll make more informed decisions. Then again, I was educated in the States where I feel like they did a decent job letting us know booze will make you feel both warm and fuzzy and then sad and nauseous, but I still hung out with a crowd that would booze too much though I didn't go as far. I would certainly say my inability to access alcohol coupled with the admiration of those who could enhanced my desire to partake and go overboard when I did. Just my additional 2 cents.

@Dante Hi Dante! First of all, let me just say that seeing you reply to this made my day after a fairly rough week, so thank you! So cool, and it's great to see more of you and NicePeter as outside of Youtube where you can discuss more! (Assuming that you not a fellow fan with a shared/fake name, but in that case your views are interesting anyway ahaha) I definitely agree with education in regards to alcohol, etc-it's not a perfect solution, but it's far, far better than going in blind and uneducated about alcohol once you reach the legal drinking age, and blanket bans can just make things seem more appealing. I think that whatever the drinking age is, education should start far, far before it and be informative of pros and cons. Hmm, good point...I suppose at the end of the day it's still about personal circumstances/choices, and the main issue is to find ways to minimise harm for everyone involved. Maybe there's other countries that have better solutions than USA and AUS

I've seen a lot of the behind the scenes episodes and never once did I clue into the running heroin joke. Even in the one BTS where you tell Lloyd that the heroin joke didn't make it and they had the mock funeral, I had no idea what you were talking about. Now that you mentioned it in this podcast I went back and watched a bunch of BTS just specifically to see what the heroin joke was about. I personally don't think that it was that big of a deal, but I completely understand your reasons why you decided to discontinue it.
