#12 - Rhett & Link Jams

Ice cream and beeswax are just a few ERB match-ups Rhett & Link discuss on the first half of this week's podcast. The second half is inspired by their Song Biscuits and features Dante and I singing songs about pirates and really old bracelets. Looking forward to your comments!

You made it easy! They are playing Lewis and Clark :) If you do want to another battle with them, make it another team battle with Smosh. Maybe together they could be the Avengers? Rhett/Thor, Link/Bruce Banner, Anthony/Iron Man, and Ian/Captain America. But the only team they could really go up against them is the Justice League. And that might be a little too comic book-y, plus you've already used Batman and Superman individually. Regardless, maybe you could put a twist on it, where the Avengers are all there modern movie versions, and the Justice League are all there 50-60's silver age versions.

Wonderful start to my day off with a great cup of coffee, sitting outside & listening to the podcast! It was nice to hear Rhett & Link's excitement about working with you. I'm glad to see the collaborative spirit is alive & thriving among content creators that have known each other since the earliest days of YouTube. I think Rawn Erickson would be a great choice if you need a 3rd person with R&L. He's so talented & funny! Could Dante's lunch with Joe Felice possibly lead to working with you all? He's brilliant! This podcast reminded me of the early days at Maker when you all worked so closely together to help create each others visions. Have a Joyful day and Thanks again for these delightful peeks into your creative world!

The forum has been suspecting for a while that Rhett and Link were playing Lewis and Clark. Most of us are sticking with that guess. If you want more Rhett and Link ideas, one 2 on 2 suggestion that the forum absolutely loves is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vs. Bruce Banner and The Hulk.

I think Rhett and Link should be in Tenzing and Norgay VS Frodo and Sam (Duos that climbed to Mountains that were never climbed before polar opposites (Everest (Cold) and Doom (Hot), thoughts?

If you want a suggestion for Ben and Jerry, Ben and Jerry vs Milton Hershey would be cool to see.

Rhett and Link are almost certainly Lewis and Clark, against Bill and Ted. I can't wait! Rhett and Link as Ben and Jerry would be hilarious. I love the idea of Chairman Mao vs Fidel Castro. Have a nice day'

You mentioned the Marx Bros. I'd love to see them against Monty Python in a battle of American and British comedy troupes. As for the 3 Musketeers, perhaps vs the 3 Stooges as famous trios with a forgotten fourth member?

Loved this. Anyway, they're probably playing Lewis & Clark, and a two on two battle you guys could do after Three Musketeers vs the Three Stooges could be Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin vs Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Explorers who literally reached new heights, both propagandized as symbols of their respective countries' strength and endurance, both in a race, and Hillary and Armstrong are known for their "steps".

It always brings me such joy to find a new podcast here! As regards two-on-two battles I think Sam and Dean Winchester from "Supernatural" vs Dante and Virgil from "The Divine Comedy" would be great to see; a modern vs a historical perspective on heaven, hell, and salvation

For one, I have never listened to a podcast then re listened to it right away. More music is always better. If you really wanted to do the 3 Muskateers, how about pairing them against the Blues Brothers?

I love Rhett and Link! My guess for them this season is Lewis and Clark... Some other suggestions for them.. no idea really, but these are the duos I thought of.. Simon & Garfunkel Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer Cheech & Chong Bill & Ted Blues Brothers Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde (Rhett) vs. Bruce Banner/Hulk (Link) and.. this is a stretch, but I donno I'm just brainstorming here: Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt battle it off against some recent kings of England: King George VI and King Edward VIII. Mid-battle, two queens of England step in to join the kings with some crazy bars - Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria. Jefferson and Roosevelt feel outnumbered, when... out comes George Washington and Abe Lincoln (the same characters/styles from earlier battles, Abe made a comeback before - he can do it again!). Halfway through George and Abe's alternating verse, Jefferson and Roosevelt get back into it so all 4 are in it together, and finish off by creating Mt. Rushmore. I just think the George/Abe comebacks would be cool to form Mt. Rushmore, the opponents could be any group of leaders from any country, really. I would say the Russians if they weren't already done.
