Sopranos.

Can I tell you this without getting too emotional?

I think it's okay to tell you anything.
But sometimes either:

A personal-ly thing happens and I'm not sure how many of those to share.
OR:
A busines-sy thing happens and I'm not sure how much of those to share.

I try to keep this to my thoughts on things.
But what happens when I have no thoughts
because I have too many things?

I'm checking my email right now as any person does.
One of my emails is from the guy who created the tv show called Boardwalk Empire,
and before that he was the head writer of the Sopranos for a gazillion years.

I met him at an Emmy's thing.

Me and Lloyd have a friend in the Emmy's.

I didn't know the Emmy's were a thing you could have friends in either.

They are run by a group called the Television Academy.
They're cool.

Our friend invited me and Lloyd to present a digital award with Harley from Epic Meal Time,
It wasn't on TV, but there were fancy suits.

So we wore fancy suits.

Lloyd and Harley were amazing together, which they always are.
Sometimes at those things I just want to watch them.
Harley is amazingly sweet and amazingly intense in real life.
...

Our Emmys friend later invited me to speak on a panel.
HIs name is Seth.

I sat next to a head of programming at Amazon, and next to him was the dude who wrote The Sopranos.

His name is Terry.
We talked for a second and he was cool but he had no idea who I was.
That was fine, I was happy for that.
Then Seth said "he makes the Epic Rap Battles of History"
and Terry went,
"ohhhh...mann... I love those.  Yoooooouuuu've got no idea what you're messing with here boyyyyyyyy"

He said it was great writing.

I said:
mmmmphhhhggggguu

The opportunity of the internet to reach someone so directly is the greatest thing that ever happened to art in my lifetime.

I have no idea how to say thank you, to you who is reading this.

Thank you for interested enough in something that I make,
that it becomes interesting enough to make someone else,
who makes things that are at the highest levels of interesting to notice it at all.

He told me about an old show called "Meeting of Minds" from the 70's.

I can't get enough of this blog right now. I mean I've seen you in the ERB Behind the scenes stuff and then I read the blogs you write and you seem like a beautiful soul (cue the Jesse McCartney music) lol. Super cheesy to say but I truly enjoy hearing your opinions, seeing what you feel about things in life and then you have your goofy playful side. Keep writing good sir, cause you have a fan for life in me.

LOL So you post an ERB Tour rehearsal pic on Instagram, I comment about how I hope this time around I'll be able to say something to you other than "asdfghjkl", and then I read this post. "I said: mmmmphhhhggggguu" Yes. Those feels. I know them. lmao

On a more serious note... I do like it when you tell us things :-) Since the ERBs got more serious/regimented/whatever you wanna call it in the last year or two, it's kinda felt like you've been slipping away from interacting with us the way you used to, and it's been sad. Don't get me wrong - you owe us NOTHING - but as someone who found you back before the ERBs were this big! huge! thing (I think there were about 4 of them at the time, lol), I miss when you had the time and energy (and desire?) for other things too... that's why I'm so freaking happy that you're blogging again! :-) Your old (old old old old) blog is freaking amazing, and I'd been hoping you might get back to blogging at some point. I haven't had a chance to listen to the podcasts yet (got them downloaded though), but I'm excited for them too! I won't lie, I miss the Monday Show terribly (and your non-ERB music... *ahem*), but if this is what you wanna do right now, I'll take it :-) [insert heart emoticon that the blog won't post here ] (lol)

I randomly remembered the two Queen covers you did a while back this week. I've been listening to them now and then throughout the day while I've been working for the past couple of days. They've made those days this week a little brighter. I think it's partly because I like the songs and partly because I can tell how much you enjoy performing in those videos. It's refreshing to watch someone who really enjoys their work--especially when your work has been crazy in a bad way. Thanks for sharing your talent and making my days a little brighter.

Hey NicePeter, Perhaps you will find this ineppropriate, but i just have to tell you. You are, with Lloyd, by far my biggest hero. I can do almost every rap you posted. Now the point is that when you posted you would go on a world tour, i went crazy. The previous world tour I was not able to join because reasons :-/ Now when you said you wanted some guys to rap with you I just lost it. Please Peter, let me rap with you (or at least try). This would be a dream to come true. I know this is not the place to post this but I don't know where else I should put it.

holy carp, it's nice peter! I had no idea you were still around until you showed up on a Doctor Who fan page on my Facebook feed. I remember seeing you at the cubby bear a million years ago (well, maybe 12 years ago) and then you stayed on my couch after a great show for a terrible audience in St. Paul. Anyway, hi :)

Hey there. I think it's cool that you feel OK with sharing such an intensely personal experience. I know it can feel like, "Man..I'm humble bragging the fuck out of my life right now" but the point people should take from this is that this kind of magic can happen to anyone. If you believe in yourself and love yourself as much as you can amazing stuff can happen. Of course some folks have it harder than others. That's why I hope everyone reading this does their best to believe in themselves, be kind to themselves and be compassionate towards others. Life is way too short to do anything but be there for each other. At any rate thanks to you and all your crew for the many, many smiles. I wish you & yours tons of success, love and happiness. May love be all your guides and serendipity your constant companion. -Zid PS Your dope beats that are most historical are so badass. That's not rhetorical. Weird Al ruled. I loved Jim Henson. The turtle crew are also worth mention. Keep on rocking and writing verse. I love the routines. They're well rehearsed. Thanks for the smiles and tuns I've enjoyed. I can't wait 'til the next one is deployed.

Man if you read this you've made my day. Your voice and music has been literally stuck in my head like a mantra for approximately 3 months now bro in one form or another. You can really tell when a performer puts their heart into what they are doing, you are a great actor, musician and you rocked harder than everyone when you were 5 years old. We appreciate the FraK outta you. TY!

If you ever read this, I will die. I 'discovered' you on Christmas of 2014. It was the best Christmas gift ever. It's my best and most favorite Winter Break past time (I'm only almost 13 technically 12 at the moment, but I stand by what I said). The battles were first of my discoveries of course, but then I found the precious gem that is your channel. It's been a really long time since you've posted on your main channel and nicepetertoo (Monday Shows were the best, but I understand why you don't make them anymore), but if you ever think about making more amazing content, and then doubt yourself, remember: You've a smaller audience with your channel, so it might not seem worth it compared to the battles, but a lot of people appreciate your content. You make amazing things and make everyone laugh (and cry). I hope that makes it worth it.

Goodmorning...I think (it is almost 9pm here in Athens, and very hot so I guess it must be daytime in the U.S.). Thank you for your work sir. So unique and intelligent and wonderfully orchestrated. Congratulations to you and mr. Lloy and the other artists and all your team and coworkers (make up artists r amazing, wardrobe, cameramen and everyone working together with you). Indeed thank you from my heart. Please if I may suggest some ideas. Mariah Carrey vs Maria Callas, the Dukes vs the Sopranos, Tony Montana vs Dorian Grey, Luke Skywalker (Jedi knight) vs Diogenes (the philosopher), Tangina (the psychic from the "Poltergeist" vs Ed & Lorraine Warren.

Hey, we all get that weird feeling that we are not 100% sure we belong. Let me tell you that the work you put forth is absolutely proportional to the outcome. You work so hard and deserve a lot. I've been watching you since Street Music 2 and the leaps and bounds made on your behalf have inspired me. There is one thing we all need to remember though inspiration is not comparison. I couldn't even compare my work to yours but that doesn't matter because I'm here to do my best like you and that's all I can expect. Peter when your down and out remember that it's not comparison but inspiration that has made this all possible and that you can do anything if you are inspired to do so! Thanks man!
