Rapping with Spongebob Squarepants

It's always interesting to see how other people work.
It makes everything real, somehow.

When we went to visit the Spongebob Squarepants office the first time, it was an impressive office, full of bright colored weird things all over the walls.
Lots of people were milling about, being professional, a receptionist asked what kind of bottled water we preferred, that level.

But when we actually sat down to talk with the director and producer, it didn't feel like something alien.
It felt like a small group of dudes who work hard on something they love, and have fun.

It was amazing to be sitting there, hearing them make strange decisions like "no... the time traveling dolphin should definitely have a British accent"

And then to see that stuff actually turn into a movie, on a giant screen, and see posters for it everywhere.
I wanted to tell someone near a billboard, "I was there!! I was there when they decided to make the squid have giant ab muscles!"

But I didn't.  I just kept it to myself, and now you.
Because it reminded me how real and small everything is when it starts.  It's just a group of people deciding to do something.  Those little abstract decisions start a big giant machine rolling, but in the beginning, it's just someone's imagination.

I loved seeing you and EpicLloyd in the movie. I was going up to people saying "That's ERB, OH MY GAWD!!" and "Hey, that's NicePeter!" I was very surprised to see you the movie it was truly an "Epic" experience.
